Our store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Product availability, pricing, promotions, discounts, and offers may change without notice.

We reserve the right to limit or cancel orders where we believe the order may be fraudulent, incorrect, abusive, placed in bad faith, placed for unauthorised resale, or otherwise unsuitable.

We do our best to provide accurate and current information on our website.

However, product information, descriptions, images, pricing, availability, ETAs, case contents, assortment details, release dates, and stock information may contain errors, inaccuracies or omissions.

We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, change pricing, revise product descriptions, update ETAs, or cancel orders if information on the website is inaccurate, including after an order has been placed.

Product listings may include supplier information, early release information, promotional images, prototype images, estimated case contents, or stock images. Final products may differ from the information or images shown.


4. Products and Availability

Many products sold by Hot Match Collectables are collectables, limited releases, imported products, pre-orders, factory-sealed cases, assortment-based products, or items supplied in limited quantities.

All products are subject to availability.

We reserve the right to limit quantities, cancel orders, discontinue products, restrict access to products, or refuse supply where necessary.

We do not guarantee that any product will meet individual collector expectations unless a specific condition or feature is expressly stated on the product listing.


5. Pricing and Promotions

All prices are listed in Australian dollars unless otherwise stated.

Prices may change without notice.

Promotions, discounts, discount codes, sales, bundle offers, free shipping offers, and other special offers may be changed, paused, extended, limited, or withdrawn at any time.

Discount codes cannot be applied retrospectively to previous orders unless we approve an exception.


6. Orders and Payment

By placing an order, you agree to provide current, complete and accurate billing, shipping, contact and payment information.

You are responsible for ensuring your order details are correct before submitting your order.

Once an order is placed, we may not be able to change items, quantities, addresses, shipping methods, or payment details.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at our discretion, including where:

  • Stock is unavailable
  • Pricing or product information is incorrect
  • Payment fails or is reversed
  • The order appears fraudulent or suspicious
  • The order appears to be placed for unauthorised resale
  • The customer has previously breached our policies
  • We are unable to fulfil the order

If we cancel an order, we will contact you using the details provided at checkout where practical.


7. Pre-Orders

Pre-orders allow customers to secure items before they arrive in stock.

By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Pre-order ETAs are estimates only
  • Arrival dates are not guaranteed
  • Products may be delayed
  • Suppliers or manufacturers may change release dates
  • Case contents or product mixes may change
  • Product images or early information may change
  • Stock allocation may change
  • Other retailers may receive stock before us
  • We may receive stock weeks or months after larger retailers, overseas stores, or other sellers

Pre-order delays are common in the diecast and collectables industry.

We update product pages when new ETA information becomes available. Please check the relevant product page for the latest available update before contacting us about a pre-order.


8. Orders Containing In-Stock and Pre-Order Items

If your order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, the order will generally ship together once all items have arrived.

If you want in-stock and pre-order items shipped separately, please place separate orders.

Where a delay becomes unusually long, we may choose to ship available items separately at our discretion.


9. Cancellations

Cancelled orders may incur a 15% cancellation fee.

This includes in-stock orders and pre-orders.

This fee helps cover payment processing fees, admin time, handling, stock allocation, and other costs associated with processing and cancelling an order.

Exceptions may apply where:

  • A product is cancelled by the manufacturer or supplier
  • We are unable to supply the item
  • A delay becomes unusually long
  • We approve an exception at our discretion
  • Australian Consumer Law requires a different outcome

10. Returns and Refunds

Returns, refunds, exchanges, faulty items, change-of-mind requests, damaged items, and cancellations are handled in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

We do not offer refunds, returns, exchanges, or store credits for change of mind unless required by law or approved by us.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.


11. Product Condition and Packaging

Many of our products are collectables, and we understand packaging condition may matter to collectors.

However, packaging is primarily designed to protect the product inside.

Minor packaging imperfections may occur, including:

  • Soft corners
  • Light card bends
  • Small creases
  • Shelf wear
  • Sticker residue
  • Minor box marks
  • Minor blister imperfections
  • General packaging wear from supplier handling, freight or storage

These may not be considered faults unless the item itself is damaged or the product listing specifically stated a particular packaging condition.

If you require mint-condition packaging, please contact us before ordering where possible.


12. Factory Defects and Quality Control

Many diecast and collectable products are mass-produced.

Minor factory quality control issues can occur, including paint flaws, tampo misalignment, wheel imperfections, blister imperfections, loose parts, small marks, assembly issues, or other manufacturer defects.

We will assess reported issues fairly, but minor factory QC issues, especially on lower-priced mass-produced items, may not always qualify for a refund or replacement.

This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.


13. Sealed Cases

If you purchase a sealed case, the case may be supplied as received from the manufacturer or supplier.

By purchasing a sealed case, you acknowledge that we may not inspect the internal contents for defects, packaging issues, missing items, assortment changes, or condition concerns before dispatch.

Manufacturer packing issues, factory defects, internal case damage, assortment changes, or product mix differences discovered after opening a sealed case are not the responsibility of Hot Match Collectables unless otherwise required by law.


14. Chase Variants

Chase variants, limited variants, special editions, inserts, rare models, or surprise inclusions are not guaranteed unless specifically stated on the product listing.

We do not offer refunds, replacements, discounts, or returns because a customer did not receive a chase variant.

Where we sell sealed cases, we do not search agreed sealed cases for chase variants.


15. Assortments, Case Mixes and Product Changes

Some products, especially Hot Wheels, Matchbox and other assortment-based items, may be supplied in changing or mixed case configurations.

Manufacturer information may change without notice.

Product mixes, quantities, models, colours, packaging, chase chances, and case contents may vary from early information, leaked lists, stock images, supplier descriptions, or original product listings.

By purchasing assortment-based products, you accept the risk that final contents may vary.

Where we become aware of major changes, we will update product listings where possible.


16. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping costs, delivery services, and available freight options may vary depending on your location, order size, order value, product type, and shipping carrier.

Estimated shipping times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Once an order leaves our warehouse, delivery is handled by the courier, postal service, or freight provider.

We are not responsible for courier delays, customs delays, incorrect delivery details provided by the customer, missed deliveries, authority-to-leave issues, or delays outside our control.

Tracking information will be provided where available.


17. International Orders

International customers are responsible for understanding and complying with their local import rules, customs procedures, duties, taxes, tariffs, fees, and delivery requirements.

International orders may be subject to customs charges, import taxes, duties, VAT, tariffs, or other fees charged by the destination country.

These charges are the responsibility of the customer unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout.

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs, border processing, local postal services, incorrect customer information, or import restrictions.


18. Wholesale Orders

Wholesale access is provided at our discretion.

Wholesale customers may be subject to separate pricing, minimum order values, freight terms, payment terms, ordering processes, and account requirements.

Wholesale access may be removed if an account becomes inactive, repeatedly cancels orders, fails to pay invoices, submits non-genuine enquiries, or otherwise breaches our wholesale requirements.

We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel wholesale supply where necessary.
